Officer T. Elliot reports:

“The victim related that he was at home trying to sleep and heard loud music coming from a vehicle parked behind [his home]. The victim [a 27-year-old male] walked over and asked the suspect to turn down his music. The suspect [a 40-year-old man] became angry and they started to argue and the suspect, with a closed fist, hit the victim several times about the face. The victim stated that he hit the suspect once, which enabled him to get away. The victim was bloodied about the face and may have a broken nose. Victim refused transport by ambulance. The victim stated that he is a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic on medication, and is on full disability and unable to work.” – Jared Jacang Maher
