Denver Cops Need More Hello Kitty

According to this story, the Thai police are implementing a novel way to shame bad cops: making them wear a bright pink Hello Kitty armband. Call me an optimist, but I think this could work in Denver, and god knows we have our share of bad cops. The Thai cops aren't wearing them in public and only get branded for petty offenses, but I say take it to the logical extreme. Whenever a cop kills someone in Denver, make them wear a Hello Kitty band until they retire. Maybe that would make them hesitate next time someone reaches for a soda can... Hell, maybe they'd mellow out from carrying that ultra-cutesy icon everywhere they went. And if not, we'd know to be extra careful around the Kitty cops. -- Cory Casciato
