Denver Post Business Columnist Al Lewis on Shrinkage

The standalone Business section is a thing of the past in weekday editions of the Denver Post -- a fact that a reader commenting on the More Messages blog about the development found ironic in light of past remarks by Post business columnist Al Lewis. In January 2007, as noted in this Message entry, Lewis ribbed the Rocky Mountain News for reducing the physical size of its pages, dubbing the results "the incredible shrinking Rocky" and creating a mock-cover of the so-called "Rocky Munchkin News."

Turns out, though, that Lewis has a sense of humor about his own section's dimunition, as he proves in a February 5 blog that features a new design for his paper, dubbed "The Denver Post-It." Here's his revolutionary design:
