Back in 1987, when the following clip was made, Alex English and Don Baylor didn't share a place in Colorado sports history; while English was an outstanding member of the Denver Nuggets, Baylor was still with the Boston Red Sox, and several years away from becoming the Colorado Rockies' first manager. So what drew them together over two decades ago? A clumsy but well-intentioned public-service announcement in which they tout the heroism of the guy seen in the middle above -- a designated driver.
