Now showing, not in a theater near you, but in the setting of an art gallery. An evening that people "go out of their way for". The REEL Heads Film festival, now showing exclusively at the Daniael Fine Art gallery in Littleton (Co.), will be running it's third screening of entertaining and adventurous motion picture art works on the Second Saturday of the month of February, 6 p.m.. And normally that would be called St. Valentines Day but, wouldn't you know it, if REEL Heads raises the curtain, holidays and saints alike are upstaged and out shined every time by this rising star. This monthly event is open to all comers, from experimental to contemporary works of all shapes and sizes. Films can be submitted to the gallery at 5788 South Rapp St, Littleton, Co. 80120. The festival is currently accepting DVDs and VHS tapes for the February screening as well as other future celebrations.
And if for some reason you're not real sure about stepping into the spotlight just drop by and feel the place out. Danial Griggs, Festival Supervisor and host extraordinaire is accessible during regular gallery hours.
There's also talks to include a Festival/Valentine's dinner for $59.95. Dinner & a good time movie night sounds kinda nice. Let 'em know if this sounds interesting.
