Today at the Rocky Mountain News, there is such a thing as a free lunch

A lot of love has come the Rocky Mountain News's way in the past 24 hours. First, a far larger crowd than anticipated showed up at last night's march/vigil at the Denver Newspaper Agency building. And then, earlier today, Rocky staffers received the following note from John Temple, the paper's editor, publisher and president:

Folks,

A friend of the Rocky who does not want to be named has sent lunch for everyone. Please enjoy. You'll find the food near the city desk. The person just wants you to know that you have many supporters in this city, people who care about you and the paper.
