If you didn't just completely float away on St. Patty's Day, here's a last chance to get caught up by a last bit of seasonal Celtic backwash: Scottish guitarist/singer/songwriter Dougie MacLean will bring his singular sound to town tonight with a show at the Colfax Events Center, the new kid on the block at 1477 Columbine Street, located next door to the Tattered Cover's East Colfax complex. Okay, so he isn't Irish, but haven't we all had our fill o' that?

The musical Scotsman, whose music's been covered by scores of artists from the States and the British Isles and heard around the globe (including in Nike commercials and the Celtic Thunder and Celtic Woman stage shows), takes the stage at 8 p.m. tonight under the auspices of the Swallow Hill Music Association. To reserve tickets, $34 to $40, visit Swallow Hill's website or call 303-777-1003.
