Twitter Tuesday: Need a date, a job or the news?

@TheDatingDr: If you're plagued by questions like, "Why can't I find that special someone?" and "Why do my dates always make excuses for having to go home early?" and "Why do I keep getting restraining orders sworn out against me?," maybe you need a little help from a dating coach. And since that probably costs money, how about you just follow this one on Twitter instead, for free? You'll get some links to self-help articles and maybe some free feedback and encouragement when you Tweet her one of these questions. And if you still end up desperate and alone? @DENmanagement: Are you looking for a job? Who isn't, right? Even if you're one of the lucky bastards who still has one, you're probably hearing rumors of impending layoffs, so this Twitter stream of the Jobing.com's Denver page could be pretty handy, right? If nothing else it's a lot less conspicuous getting upcoming job openings fed into your Twitter stream than looking at the job listings at work. This stream is for management-level jobs, although you get the occasional oddball listing, like today's notice for an "exciting dance career." LOLWUT?

@DenverPost: I prefer to get my news via RSS feed, but since I only get around to looking at that once a day or so (kind of like I used to do with the actual paper, now that I think of it...), I do follow the Post's Twitter stream on the off chance something that demands my attention NOW happens. And if RSS is still alien tech to you (or you're so over its outmoded functionality), then this is a fine way to get the headlines of the day -- and links to the full stories -- delivered to you more or less as they happen.
