Mile High Murder, No. 27: A street fight in Northglenn

Northglenn police are investigating the killing late last night of an unidentified 29-year-old man, who died shortly after fighting with two or three other men. The suspected assailants have been taken into custody. Two women were injured in the proceedings, but both have been released from the hospital.

At this point no other information is available, but you can read the Northglenn Police Department's statement after the jump.

On Monday July 27, 2009 at approximately 11:47 p.m. Northglenn Police Officers responded to a disturbance in the 11600 block of Grant Street. On arrival officers found an unresponsive, white male lying in the street. Officers started CPR on the male and immediately began contacting several witnesses. The 29 year old male was transported to Denver Health Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 12:20 a.m.

Witnesses told officers the victim was in a physical altercation with 2-3 other males which were no long on scene. Officers were able to contact the males a short time later and were subsequently placed into custody for questioning. Two females, who were also injured in the altercation, were treated at a local hospital and released with minor injuries.
