This morning, Mary Marvin sent out an update about her husband, AM 760 morning host Jay Marvin, who underwent an epic surgical procedure two weeks ago to address serious health issues that have kept him off the air since March. Instead of e-mailing a description of how he's doing, though, she simply shipped off the photo seen here, which shows the massive incision doctors had to make in order to remove two vertebrae destroyed by an infection that could have left him permanently paralyzed. It's an image that'll stick in the minds of everyone for whom Marvin has been a morning staple.
