Aurora burglars keep to a tight schedule
The Aurora Police Department is on the lookout for a thief or thieves who tried and sometimes succeeded at breaking into nine businesses over a seven-hour stretch, from 9 p.m. Sunday, September 6, to 4 a.m. Monday, September 7 -- a rate of one attempt every 46.66 minutes. That's efficiency! Oh yeah: The businesses targeted were mostly hair and nail salons, with a tanning joint tossed in for good measure, suggesting that the scofflaws are mighty insecure about their cuticles.
