Back again with more great Twits to follow for your burgeoning Twitter feed. As always, follow us at @denverwestword, @cafewestword, @westword_music and @casciato.

@CBS4Denver: I'm not a big watcher of television news, and by that, I mean that except in cases of huge breaking stories (election nights, terrorist attacks, tsunamis and/or earthquakes) or reports that demand video, I prefer to read my news. For one thing, I can read faster than those pretty folks with nice hair can speak. For another, I get to skip over the stupid shit that way. But on Twitter, Channel 4 is actually kind of cool. They link to their online stories, of course, but also give quick updates on ongoing news and solicit feedback from the community. If you've been trying to get a TV reporter to cover your Elvis-shaped squash, this could be a handy resource.

@AuroraSentinel: Aurora is like Denver's crime-ridden, trashy little brother -- except, of course, it's bigger than Denver proper and probably has lower crime, too, despite my obvious prejudice. In any case, Aurora news is Denver news, so keeping an eye on the Aurora Sentinel isn't a bad idea. What better way to do that than via their Twitter feed? None, I say. Plus, they're always soliciting input on ongoing stories. So when you get photos of rabid protesters outside a grade school with misspelled signs insisting that "Obama=soshilust," you know where to send them

@5280Magazine: Okay, 5280 isn't exactly breaking new ground with its Twitter usage, but they are on there, linking to their web stories and blogs. That's all they do, but I have found the interesting link there on occasion. Like this story, which was tweeted under the headline "Should you be worried about bears?" (Short answer: Not unless you live in Aspen.) Man, bears are awesome -- except the kind quarterbacked by Baby Jay.
