• To Anonymous- One more thing... you made your point about the medical facts and I wont and cant argue that and trust me when I say I have thught long and hard about all of the things that could hav happened... So why are you pointing fingers?? nobody is doing that to Stephen.. Not me, my parents, siblings, anyone.. but once again I hope you will come to me in private with your questions/concerns because making this public will only stir things up with the media.

• Stephen and "The mother" wr both intensly interrigated and as "The mother" I can honestly say I got let go because of whatever stephen said to the police douring his questioning. These are very hurtful things everyone is saying. Stephen cant read these comments so all of you bashing him are waisting your time and making this harder for the family involved. Matthew was NEVER thrown anywhere by anyone. Before this event there was never any sign of any "rough play" or "abuse" from anyone in Matthews life. And I know what the police wr reported and my husbanad knows I am not the type of person to express agression. And to Stephens cousin... This is a family matter and I feel the media needs not to know what is going on between the family it will only worsen things (advised by a defense attourney).... Are you seriously going to not bring this up in person or in an email but you will blog about it to the public over the internet... I can assure to you that Stephen reported Matthew woke up from his carseat (where I had him) and was screaming and crying. After I went to safeway... I can get you that report if you would like if you can be civil and mature enough to confront me with that. Stephen and I are husband and wife and you all should be supporting "the family" I am trying my best to handle all of this and support all of Matthews family including EVERYONE. All of us are hurt by this but we dont need to make this harder for anyone. This was a horrible event but we need to be there to help eachother through it as a family... Why does everyone find that so hard to do? Trust me its hard for me too but thats whats right and that will help all of us get through this.. I have some things I would like to share but deff. not on a public page so if you would like to talk privatly about this please feel free to get my email from Stephens mom and send me a message. I would love to speak as "family" not as "the wife" "the mother" "the accuser" or anything but a supporter. And I would be more than happy to sit in front of the whole family and take a lie detector test or show you my interrigation but that cant happen (per the detectives and defenst attourney).

• I disagree the baby had no injuries that would entail shaken baby syndrom only bleeding of the brain that could have come from a seizure or any other possible ilnesses. I am Stephens cousin and of course the mother is depressed, she is about to lose her baby, but Stephen reported to the police that she was very rough with the child throwing it on the bed, getting angry with the child. He told the police he only shook the baby for only a few seconds because when he came home the baby wasn't breathing. There has been no investigation involving the mother not nearly as much as the investigation of Stephen. I dont believe that Stephen is guilty but i do think that both of the parents should be given lie detector tests so that the truth will be known.

• The mother is nursing her child in hospital. He has been on life support. They are taking him off life support this weekend, and he will be under hospice care. Hospice cares for people in the last days of their life. That mother is about to lose her son. She is not suffering from Post Partum. She is suffering because her son is likely to die after being brutally shaken by her husband. The DA HAS investigated the mother. The father HAS admitted to shaking his baby. Why can't you just accept the fact that the father did something very, very wrong?

• Personally I have been following this case and the DA has charged this man without investigating the mother. I believe this is just another case where the male in the situation has been charged instead of the woman to make the DA look better. Postpartum Depression is a very serious illness that should be taken into consideration in this investigation!!!!

• Yes, I meant to say attempted murder. Either way, not a joking matter, so no reason to be witty in this context. But if Michael wants to compare himself against a child abuser, who am I to stand in the way.

• Someone must have shaken "Anonymous" as a baby. That would explain the crippled reading comprehension.

• The infant's not dead -- hence the attempted murder charge. And I was criticizing anyone who would commit such an act, especially given the well-known and, yes, often lethal consequences. People who shake babies are truly the ones hitting a new low.

• Yes, let's be flippant about a dead infant. Anything for a laugh. Good grief. New low.
