Incredibowl wins big at the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam
The guys behind the Incredibowl, which was described in a September Westword feature on the medical marijuana industry and is captured in action in the above video, flew off to Amsterdam last week for the 22nd annual High Times Cannabis Cup festival in Amsterdam -- and came home with a bunch of awards.
The Incredibowl team entered their device in the "Best Product" awards category, where they won second place behind the Vapor Swing, a smoking gizmo made in California. But at the last minute, they also took a swing at the "Best Glass" award, for which they placed third -- quite an accomplishment for a product that doesn't feature a whole lot of glass. (It didn't stand a chance, of course, against the first-place glass finisher: the six-foot-long Roor Excalibur bong.)

"Coming home with two certificates was the best thing I could ever imagine," says Incredibowl co-founder Mitchell Shenassa. The wins helped solidify international distribution channels for the Incredibowl, which launched last 4/20 (wink, wink), and introduced its founders to international products they may bring back to Colorado, such as a topical cannabis patch that works for 24 hours.
If you want to try the award-winning Incredibowl yourself, the $200 weed pipe can be found at dispensaries around the state and will be for sale on the company's website (for patients only) by the holidays. In the process, if you happen upon members of the Incredibowl team, don't bother asking them about what they did in Amsterdam. As Shenassa admits, "I can't frankly claim to remember most of what happened."
