Near-nudity no longer enough to make Americans tolerate PETA

peta3.jpg
PETA has been trotting out naked ladies to try to drum up sympathy for their cause for years, and often it's pretty successful, if you consider drawing a few pervs with cameras and the occasional honk from a passing pick-up a success. But yesterday's "Fur-Out, Love-In" stunt on the 16th Street Mall fell a little flat judging by the photos shot by Aaron Thackeray, who has a real nose for nudity.

The photos are mildly unsafe for work, depending whether your employer has a problem with seeing a fraction of a protester's areola on your monitor.
