Kayleah Wilson search not over: Volunteers needed

Kayleah hasn't been forgotten.

Young Kayleah Wilson is still missing more than two weeks after heading off to a March 28 birthday party -- and while her friends, family and other concerned folks are keeping up their spirits on a Facebook page devoted to her, they need help to continue looking for her in the Greeley area.

The search is now being coordinated by an organization called the Kayleah Wilson Recovery Center, which is trying to line up volunteers able to devote part of their weekend to the task. In the meantime, the FBI has announced the first press conference about Kayleah in several days; it will take place at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Greeley Police Department.

Greeley, Colorado - April 14, 2010 -- The 'Laura Recovery Center,' a Texas based organization
that was established to locate missing children, has been helping with the search almost since
day 1.

12-year-old Kayleah Wilson has been missing since March 28th, and was last seen in the area of the Greeley Mall. Since her disappearance, hundreds of volunteers and law enforcement, including the FBI, have been searching for Kayleah.

The search for Kayleah has not ended, and the Kayleah Wilson Recovery Center has taken charge of organizing another weekend of "Community Searches." In order to make the most of these efforts, as many volunteers as possible from across Colorado are needed.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS!

The Kayleah Wilson Recover Center is calling for volunteers from across the state to participate in this weekend's search. Between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., search volunteers are asked to report to: Journey Church, 2332 W. 27th St,, Greeley, Colorado, 80634. Volunteers should be at least 18 years of age, and should dress appropriately for rugged terrain. Volunteers are not required to have any previous experience, but any experience is greatly welcomed.
