DIA earns its "Tornado Alley" nickname

When city planners first suggested building Denver International Airport at its present location, plenty of locals pointed out that the area is nicknamed "Tornado Alley" thanks to its proclivity for kicking up high winds and severe storms. Fortunately, no major tornadoes have struck the terminal head on in the two decades since it opened, but that danger is always there, as this video from yesterday proves. It's a twister! It's a twister! With a hail of an ending.
