Douglas Bruce = Dr. Evil, says ColoradoPols

Douglas Bruce's bark and his bite are both pretty savage.
Blogs about Denver don't suffer from a lack of oxygen, no matter what flatlanders say. Here are three examples.

ColoradoPols highlights reporting by Eileen Welsome, a former Westworder turned Colorado Springs Gazette staffer, who details the connection between gadflly Douglas Bruce and the financing of three ballot initiatives, amendments 60 and 61, plus Proposition 101. In the site's view, that makes him Dr. Evil -- a nickname he likely wears with pride.

Ken at Denver Infill notes that finding a home for the Angelo di Benedetto mural at the soon-to-be-demolished Colorado Judicial Building just got harder, since they're painted on panels partly made of asbestos. Art lovers aren't breathing any easier.

WhoSaidYouSaid.com highlights a clip in which Diana DeGette quotes Tom Petty: "You could stand me up at the gates of hell/But I won't back down." By "gates of hell," does she mean "Congress"?
