• this is nothing more then our goverment thumbing its nose at the peoples vote and they have been thumbing there noses at us since the fill nozzel from california started pumping cash into there agendas. All you lawmakers are in serious danger of having Kharma grab you by the balls and upset your rich little lives, You are totally clueless. • This bill is all about a dirty governing body getting their hands on millions and millions of dollars of sick individuals' money. Don't believe me? Then why are there TWO separate clauses which give 10 million dollars a year to a shadowy "business enforcement group?" Why did they need to put it in as two separate articles instead of one for $20 million. Check it out - the quarter million and higher handouts start on the last few pages. I'm all for a few of them, but really? $10 million a year? TWICE? For the same group? This bill obviously favors big business and is forcing the smaller places out of business just to fuel the greed of crooked politicians and police. This can only drive prices up, not down. Plus quality is going to go down the drain with less and less competition. The greed is thick here, I may not stay in Colorado to choke on it any longer.

The input has been from big business. Looks like there was some face time for edibles. No time at all with individual care givers. Words, words and discriminating to the individual primary caregiver. The 5 patient limit and the definition is unconstitutional. This Bill could be a smoke screen. The average citizen can no longer follow all the legalize. Unbelievable that an agency will be created and funded. Waste of tax dollars just to put a shirt on a person so the community feels good that every thing is under control. I hope that the individual primary caregiver � not meaning a dispensary � achieving economy for patients, economy of natural resources would not be penalized in return for this dispensary model. The States discrimination of non profit caregivers is fear that a few people helping patients won�t pay appropriate taxes. My opinion on pieces of the Bill: Wording takes away the Constitutional right to use a Dr. recommendation or the forms for immediate use negating the State�s 5 days turn around time: A VALID REGISTRATION CARD ISSUED PURSUANT TO -39- 1284 SECTION25-1.5-106, C.R.S.,ANDAVALIDPICTURE 1 IDENTIFICATIONCARD 2 THAT MATCHES THE NAME ON THE REGISTRATION CARD. Thank you for addressing the fee. This wording needs to make sure that the fee is adjusted before anything else is paid and it does not do that. • As a patient I'm all for it, and here's why: I cannot see how the regulating body can authenticate the numbers. It potentially hurts the growers/distributors, which my caregiver is, causing them to drop prices, which would help patients like me. We patients don't really care how it ends up on the shelf, it's the price that we still pay is agonizing. Yes, my caregiver is required to give an amount free every month, but these disp's are charging top street prices for the ease of acquisition. Many of the revisions to the bill address the lack of supervision and accountability needed especially in this business. The character of the proprietor of a disp. should be an extensive FBI background check. I'm convinced the 'mob' is a growing presence here in Denver, and that's the last thing we wanted to happen.
