Pot, education and more: The Colorado House has two days to do the math

alarm clock.jpg
By statute, this session of the Colorado Legislature must end on May 12. Lawmakers have a lot of work to do before then.

The two hottest measures of this legislative session -- medical marijuana regulations and the education reform bill -- will both hit the House today. In the case of pot, the House must sign off on the amendments made to HB 1284 by the Senate -- including the controversial stipulation that the addresses of grow houses be kept confidential. But compared to the impending fight over SB 191, the teacher bill slated for a floor vote this morning, the pot measure looks, well, mellow.

Two days and counting.
