We knew working out is good for you, but this is ridiculous.

According to a "What's Your Workout" story in the July 6 Wall Street Journal, exercise helped Mayor John Hickenlooper not only shave off ten pounds, but ten years -- since the article initially said he was 48 years old.

By the end of the day, though, the Journal had corrected the age gaffe, upping Hickenlooper to his actual 58. And the paper also corrected the name of his spokesman, Eric Brown, but left Brown's quotes alone:

"No one on staff takes the elevator," Brown said, describing his boss's no elevator rule, "even when we know the mayor is out of the office."
