Robert Knudsen: Sexually violent predator leaves Wheat Ridge on heels of parole violation

One of the most uncomfortable responsibilities for municipalities these days is to inform the citizenry that a sexually violent predator has come to town. So imagine how delighted the folks in Wheat Ridge were to let folks know that one who'd previously been living in the community -- Robert Knudsen -- is now gone, thanks to a helpful parole violation earlier this month. SEXUALLY VIOLENT PREDATOR LEAVES THE WHEAT RIDGE COMMUNITY

Wheat Ridge, Colorado -- Robert Clinton Knudsen, (63), previously of 11340 W. 38th Ave, #22, in Wheat Ridge has been relocated outside the Wheat Ridge Community. Knudson resided at the above address since November 2008.

The Colorado Department of Corrections (DOC) notified Wheat Ridge Police that on July 9, 2010, Robert Knudsen was taken into custody for a parole violation.

Wheat Ridge Police Department has no further information of Knudsen's future residency plans.

Knudsen's expected release date from DOC is September 2, 2010.
