JonBenét Ramsey murder solved?: It's not on the CBI's new cold case database

• If your going to comment please get your facts straight.. And BTW...go read what the experts say about the DNA evidence clearing the Ramsey's! It is BS and clears no one!

• @ marty I believed for over a decade that it was the Ramsey's that killed poor Johbenet', but when the DNA evidence left on her body didn't match any of them, and information was brought to light on a suspect I believe was named Mark Kilgoth or Kelgoth, I am now of the opinion that he committed the murder. From what I do remember hearing on this suspect, the bootprint found in the Ramsey basement matched a print on a boot he owned, and there was a specific mixture of some type of dirt and fungus that was exclusive to the Ramsey basement floor found on the sole of his boot. He was a known pedophile, and either shortly before or after JonBenet was murdered, he broke in a nearby house and attempted to molest a young girl that physically resembled JonBenet until the mother hear something, came in and maced him. There was a lot more but it was on a documentary on the case that aired that I can not remember the name of for the life of me. Coincidentally, he comitted suicide within a couple years after JonBenet was murdered, and even his suicide was ruled suspicious. So I don't think we will ever see this case solved, and that is an unfortunate travesty as children are the most innocent of victims and ALWAYS deserve justice.

• A child kidnapped, ransom note left on steps, then murdered upstairs. Parents refuse interviews and eventually agree on own grounds, then sell story to news. Police made many mistakes no doubt. It doesn't change the fact the parents killed this child. Everywhere they go regardless of what they do they will be remembered as murderers and looked down upon. This will be enough punishment until the day they meet God.

• Must be a hard case to crack when the CBI can't get the victim's name right. Talk about integrity.

• After years of hard work on the part of dedicated CBI and other public safety employees, all you can do is take ignorant potshots deriding the efforts of people who give a damn and are trying to make a difference. There are actually some newsworthy and interesting stories behind the development of this database, but all you can do is criticize and sensationalize. "Blog" entries like this one are the reason that "journalistic integrity" is a bigger oxymoron than "military intelligence". FYI - the Boulder PD had asked that the details not be revealed. Since the case in question is being actively worked, this is likely why it was not originally in CBI's database. The record has been updated there - perhaps you should do the same.
