Ken Buck & Michael Bennet, South Park-style: Who's the douche and who's the turd sandwich?
KOA's Mike Rosen accused AM 760's David Sirota of being humorless after Sirota circulated a Rosen line from a debate about crashing a plane into a thus-far-unbuilt mosque near Ground Zero -- a joke, according to Rosen, but one that still led to MSNBC's Keith Olbermann branding him the worst person in the world. Now, in an apparent attempt to prove Rosen wrong, Sirota's running a poll about the Senate race between Ken Buck and Michael Bennet. He wonders: Who's the giant douche and who's the turd sandwich?
The question is a reference to a 2004 episode of South Park, the long-running Comedy Central series created by the pride of Colorado, Trey Parker and Matt Stone. In the election-themed ep, South Park voters had to pick between, you guessed it, a giant douche or a turd sandwich -- an opportunity celebrated in a song that's since become a favorite way for YouTubers to demonstrate their contempt for politicians of all stripes. The video below adapts it to the 2008 presidential campaign.
