• There are several possibilities as to what might have happened but it would appear that without a body it is quite possible that she is telling the truth, or at least her version of the truth as she knows it. One thing that has puzzled me is that the media is focusing only on David and Tiffany Heartly and what happened that day. Usually they do a great big story about what the victim did, worked at went to school, what he did in Mexico for 2.5 years. Maybe there is more to the story than we are been lead to believe. I for one can not make that call on that as I do not have access to all the information. I will say that the first gut reaction I had was she did it when the story broke, but then again the story broke on CNN & FOX news almost at the same time. There in may lie some of the speculation / confusion. If we can't agree on who shot JFK, we can not find Osoma Bin Laden there is a fat chance in hell we are ever going to find David heartly's body.

• Agree with Anonymous, DRUG DEAL GONE WRONG!! It makes no sense at all for the Hartleys to be on the Mexico side of the lake. The area had warnings against pirates that they were aware of. It makes no sense for them to go out jet skiing the day before a big move. Most people would be packing or resting up before the trip. The only explanation that does make sense is if they were going to Mexico to purchase drugs to take with them to Colorado to sell.
