Accident scene reminds drivers to clear their plates: Kenny Be's Sign Language

Autumn snow storm leaves trace amounts of new evidence.

The bent railing on the fence, the leaning street sign and the tire tracks marking the sidewalk in the picture above are all tell-tale signs of an auto accident. The location of the accident scene -- at the base of a hill -- combined with the trace of snow on the lawn, might suggest a single-car collision. The license plate left as a calling card hints that damage to the car didn't impede the driver's journey...

The angle of the street sign insinuates that the stop-sign pole acted as leverage in keeping the errant car from a more severe collision with the phone pole. The license plate left lying in the weeds would suggest that the stop-sign pole may have mangled the front bumper, but the driver did not get out of the car to survey the damage and/or pick up the pieces.

Conversely, this entire scene might have been an elaborate setup by the National Sleep Foundation to remind young drivers about their efforts during Drowsy Driving Prevention Week in Denver.
