The only reason that MMCs need to be concerned is that Warren decided to make an issue of it -- Matt Cook doesn't give a damn, except for that fact. Patients have nothing to fear -- this is an opportunity to learn, socialize, and judge the best medicine grown by caregivers, those our Constitution empowered to provide patients with cannabis.

• The Caregivers Cup is NOT associated with High times in any way. In fact, the Caregivers Cup received a cease and desist letter in the last week from High Times. Looking for further proof? Go to the caregivers cup website (www.caregiverscup.com) where you will see that "Reverend" Tipton had to blur out the words "High Times" in the past few days because he about to get his fat ass sued. He told High Times that he photoshopped that image and that he wasn't claiming it had anything to do with HT. PATIENTS BEWARE!!! The esteemed Warren Edson sent an email to many MMC;s this week explaining that this competition is not 1284 compliant. Furthermore, how can a "judge" reasonably judge medicine based on aesthetics alone? No one, NO ONE smokes or uses the medicine before judging it. It is based 100% on appearance and smell. This is a sham and a disgrace to patients. Tim Tipton, you should be ashamed of yourself.

• Tim Tipton is a fraud who uses events like this to give him a veil of legitimacy. He's sold patient information to strangers and repeatedly scammed legitimate caregivers out of medicine intended for indigent patients, instead selling it at top dollar on the streets. Please, do not attend this event. Westword is doing a journalistic injustice by continuing to promote a sycophant like Tim.
