A 47-year-old man shot his wife during an argument in Aurora on Monday. He turned himself into police and is now in custody. The couple had no relatives in the area, and the Arapahoe County Sheriff's office is working with out-of-state police to locate next of kin. Until they do, no further details will be released on the case.

Sheriff J. Grayson Robinson says the shooter is still being questioned and has not yet been booked.

The shooting happened in a housing development in unincorporated Arapahoe County just east of e-470 and south of I-70. It is the third murder of the week within a 10-mile radius northeast of the city.
