Reader: Mike Littwin is balanced in his own way, and the Denver Post shouldn't move him

Mike Littwin.
Last week, we wrote about the possibility of Denver Post columnist Mike Littwin being moved to the op-ed pages from his high-profile page-two perch.

Our item prompted a comment from a reader who thinks Littwin's less easily pigeonholed than most people acknowledge.

Bill Kostka writes:

Please do not move Littwin or shorten his columns. It took me a while to really believe in the balance of Littwin's views. I cherish reading his column now every day, whether I read anything else in the Post or not -- and I do read it all. He's a rare find who looks like a refugee from Haight-Asbury and writes with care giving in depth perspective to the most important news of the day. You can't classify him as a liberal or conservative, only as one hell of a good observer and commentator.
