Plenty of locals were excited when the Denver Broncos' braintrust decided to make Super Bowl-winning former quarterback John Elway an executive with the team following the Josh McDaniels disaster. But one of our readers, who weighed in on a Denver Blogs post about Atlanta Falcons assistant Mike Mularkey canceling an interview for the Broncos' gig, thinks it's a terrible idea.

Mularky's cancellation is the first step in the process of realizing that bringing back Mr. Ed is the worst mistake the Broncos have made to date. What head coach in his right mind wants to be told which qb they have to support while taking on a losing team under the cloud of Mr. Ed's aura?
