Update: Opponents of Senator Kent Lambert's immigration bills have dismissed them as Arizona-imitating, Latino-alienating and budget-busting. As for proponents of the measures, they've now got a rallying cry in the hit-and-run accident that killed Jose Medina near the Rockstar Lounge this past weekend. All four people busted in the incident are reportedly in the U.S. illegally.

That's the word from the Associated Press, notes 7News, which catalogs quite a lengthy criminal record for the various arrestees. For instance, Norma Vera-Nolasko, stopped at the Phoenix airport as she was allegedly trying to flee to Mexico, was "cited in Aurora in both 2007 and 2008 for driving without a license and driving without insurance, while Eliu Montes-Garcia was "arrested in Alamosa County in May 2007 on felony distribution of dangerous drugs, driving without a license, improper license plates and driving under restraint charges." He was subsequently convicted of drug possession and sentenced to nine months in prison, after which he was deported in January 2008 -- and again in March, after being caught trying to reenter the country.

Expect to hear this case mentioned plenty at the Colorado legislature in the coming months.

Medina real estate
Medina real estate

Religious tourism in Saudi Arabia has played a key role in the development of real estate and infrastructure, particularly in Makkah province. Regarded as one of the most important cities in the religion of Islam, Makkah is home to some of the holiest sites for Muslims, including the Masjid al-Haram. It is here that Muslims from around the world come to perform Umrah and the Hajj. During the Hajj, millions of people come to worship in unison and in Islam every adult with the financial and physical capacity, is expected to perform this pilgrimage once in a lifetime. In addition to Makkah, the holy city of Medina welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, who come to the area to visit the Tomb of the Prophet Mohammad and worship at local mosques.

As a LEGAL (non-hispanic) immigrant it SHITS ME that these people come to the USA and then cause the havoc that they do. There should be special sentences for illegal immigrants who commit crimes, they don't deserve to be here. Stupid assholes.

Four down, one million to go. Texas is more than capable of having all these illegal aliens in their state. Thats the only way they will have any chance of getting any federal legislation passed to get them amnesty, which they won't get living in a small insignificant state like Colorado.
