Earlier today, we shared attorney Rob Corry's objections to HB 1261, a bill to set THC driving limits.

The measure passed out of committee 6-2.

I don't drive under the influence of anything. I am a registered patient and use cannabis on a nightly bases to help kill the pain so I can sleep. I'm actually looking forward to being pulled over and tested so I can fight this bullshit in court. However, that will be difficult since I have not been pulled over in years...

This is more Reefer Madness in the form of ignorance. The people of the world who oppose the use of cannabis, be it medical or personal, are ignorant. Some refuse to be enlightened/educated, but others are open to education. Frankly those opposed to cannabis use should be gently educated and given a mild THC infused something with their complete knowledge & acceptance, so they can see for themselves that cannabis is not harmful. Granted their are some people who do not care for the effects of cannabis. They are always very healthy and young people. As one ages, the effects of Cannabis Therapy become more apparent i.e. Cannabis Fights the Aging Process. I am a 58 yr old male, I believe that with my 21 yr old son's generation Cannabis will become accepted as it should be. That this generation is the generation that will finally Legalize Marijuana in the United States accepting the Cannabis Plant as the safe & therapeutic plant that it is. With marijuana it is impossible to harm yourself, unless someone were to drop a 500 Lb bale on you from 500 feet up. Then there would be an excellent chance of being harmed. Other than that Marijuana use is more therapeutic than harmful, and the world is beginning to accept it. Many countries are already leading the cause for Medical Marijuana Freedom with Israel being Number 1. Leaving the U.S. and its ostrich president & congress i.e. they all have their heads stuck in the sand whenever the Medical Marijuana issue comes up, looking the fools they are. This must be stopped/changed. Or progress and trust in our gov't will not exist.
