CU named Playboy's top party school of 2011: Thank you, reefer madness! (PHOTO)

With a nickname like "Buffs," it's no wonder that the naked-lady-lovin' folks at Playboy magazine would have a hard-on for the University of Colorado at Boulder. And now they've expressed their affection for the school's lifestyle by naming CU America's number one party school (Link is NSFW).

Which probably won't thrill university administrators.

CU's Jessica Lorin was named co-ed of the week in 2006.
You'll recall that last year, CU president Bruce Benson was apparently so afraid of the university topping the Princeton Review party school list that he denounced the methodology in advance.

This panic attack proved unnecessary when CU's reefer madness and party-school rankings actually fell from the previous year -- from fifth and eleventh place to sixth and sixteenth, respectively.

But Playboy doesn't agree with those stupid Ivy Leaguers, as is clear from the following blurb describing CU's victory, which is accompanied by the above shot of past co-ed Jessica Lorin (plus a second one of her facing forward):

CU-Boulder is home to reefer madness. Not only does Boulder have 50 medical-marijuana dispensaries within its city limits, but every April nearly half the university's 24,000-plus undergrads turn out for the annual 4/20 smoke-out on school grounds. Boulder is also a beer drinker's paradise, with four breweries in town. "There are a lot of distractions from school -- snowboarding, mountain biking, super hot girls," says one alum. Literally dozens of world-class ski resorts are a drive away. You know Boulder is a party school because whenever you tell someone that you went there, the first thing they ask is, "Did you graduate?"

Maybe that's why CU tops a New York Times survey of top college acceptance rates at 84 percent. Gotta let a lot of students in to make sure a decent number actually finish up.

Party on!
