• How exactly were you "shoulder-to-shoulder" when you say only 5,000 people were there? If you were packed in that tight, 50,000 sounds like a much more accurate estimate.

• 50,000? Hardly. I think you might've accidentally put another zero on the end of that number. I've been to the event on a couple occassions and though I'd love to think that many citizens would be out to express civil disobedience, lets not exaggerate. I'll stay home this year- i'd rather not be shoulder-to-shoulder with a bunch of ignorant juggaloes.

• Planned in conjunction with the Rally is an effort to involve its participants in the political process. Volunteers will be gathered from the Rally, briefly trained to protest within the Law, then sent over to the Capitol, where we will demand that the General Assembly LEGALIZE CANNABIS NOW! Plan on spending at least some time between 1:00 - 4:20pm on the public sidewalk around the Capitol. We will use the East side as the focus of our protest, but we will circle the Capitol too. We will not impede traffic or interfere with others, so we also expect no harrassment from DPD, but Copwatch and legal observers are urged to come document the day. I need a few volunteers to help me organize participants. This is a wonderful opportunity to turn some of the energies of the people who make up the 4/20 Rally towards real change.
