Jessica Simpson (and Michelle Obama) to honor military families at Coors Field on April 13

Jessica Simpson.
Pop trollop Jessica Simpson may not have really hexed Dallas quarterback Tony Romo when the two were an item. But with Troy Tulowitzki just shaking off the curse of Katy Perry, we still have reason to worry about any connection to J-Simp, who'll reportedly make an appearance at Coors Field on Wednesday as a tribute to military families.

Oh yeah: Michelle Obama's supposed to be here, too.

Tulo won't be present, though, since the Rockies will be in New York City to play the Mets that evening. But the contest will screen on the JumboTrons as specially invited military families are slated to be joined by the First Lady, Jill Biden, Simpson and the Air Force Academy baseball team, which will play with kids on the field, according to a release. It's all part of a two-day tour promoting a new initiative, to be announced at the White House tomorrow, to support the troops behind the troops.

Here's Simpson's allusion to the appearance on her Twitter feed:

It's such an honor to join First Lady Michelle Obama as she kicks off her new initiative in support of our military & their families Wed!less than a minute ago via web Favorite Retweet Reply

We've got a call in to Colorado Rockies spokesman Jay Alves seeking more info. When he gets back to us, we'll update this post.
