Reader: Manitou Springs bed-and-breakfasts that ban children are definitely okay by me!

An interesting response to Joel Warner's post about the prevalence of lodgings in Manitou Springs that don't allow children. Far from complaining about this state of affairs, plenty of our readers backed this policy wholeheartedly.

Here's a prime example.

Zombies for dinner writes:

I think it is a huge relief that we have access to locations that do not allow children. There is an assumption out there that children should be allowed everywhere and what it comes down to is this: not all of us agree with this notion. Some of us actually *gasp* choose not to have children and enjoy having a good time without screaming children or lackadaisical parents sitting idly by while we (strangers) have to do the parenting. Two thumbs up, Manitou.
