Rachel Maddow showcases CO author Stephen Singular, abortion doctor George Tiller's murder

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow has been very kind to Colorado authors of late. On the same March program in which she tried to teach America how to say the the word "Colorado," she spotlighted David Sirota's Back to Our Future. And earlier this week, she offered an astonishing fifteen-minutes-plus of airtime to Stephen Singular, whose new book, The Wichita Divide, examines the 2009 murder of abortion doctor George Tiller and the increasingly strident battle over choice in this country.

Singular not only got the opportunity to discuss the repercussions of the Tiller assassination in detail, but he also linked the brand of extremism that killed the physician and close friend of Boulder's Warren Hern to the 1984 murder of Denver radio host Alan Berg, which he wrote about in a previous book, 1987's Talked to Death.
