Medical marijuana PR firm files suit against Greenway University...talk about bad press

• Gus Ecamilla aka GASTAVO ISQUERDO is a convicted felon from California, who lied on his application for Greenway University to become a certified school through the Dept of Education, in Colorado. He lied about his criminal background and his name. When are the authorities going to shut this exconvict down and put him back in jail where he belongs??

• I need to track down documentation of a criminal record for Gustavo Escamilla.  At least that is the name he goes by now.  I have attached documents I have located to date.  Mr. Escamilla appears to be Gustavo Escamilla (or Escamitta) Isquierdo.  He is a Dinuba HS class of 86 graduate. ( Dinuba , CA ) See attachment.  He apparently was convicted in Tulare County California of “Grand Theft” a felony, related to a problem with client money/trust funds in a real estate transaction.  He was a sales person/broker?   His license was revoked by the Cal Dept of Real Estate.  I talked to the clerk of the criminal courts in Tulare County .  She gave me a DOB on the guy as 6-15-68.  Case number is DCF 060233-001  Grand Theft, a felony under a CAL code 487(a).  He was sentenced to 240 days in jail plus 48 months probation. Probably served his time in the Tulare County Jail in Visalia , CA . greenway victim  

•  This is shameful slander against Gus and Greenway U. This person posting is NOT Gus Escamilla, founder of Greenway. I have taken classes at the University, I attend a weekly MMJ/MMED industry compliance meeting at Greenway, I support another industry non-profit that receives low-cost or no-cost office space at Greenway with my MMJ businesses. Without the support of Gus and Greenway would these pro-MMJ communities exist?  As an instructor at Greenway I can tell you first hand that I busted my ass researching my material for my classes in order to provide a world-class learning experience for the students there. Show me the plagiarism - I'll show you my 6 months of notes and my amazon account.

• They have always treated me with respect and gone out of their way for me.  Anytime I have done work for them they have always paid and been fair.  They are some of the best people I know. That's a big bill for not even a year of PR.  Its sad they have a campus to teach our industry and people all want to take a piece.  They are just a school. 

• Yes this is an angry man who could not be more mistaken.... Who sends out a press release there suing someone? Then says there not going to be tacky? LOL  I wonder what they do for the industry.  Nothing if they spend their time writing useless press release.  Time for us to spread love not hate! Greenway lets some of the most influential groups have free space and have always been good to me.....

• I do not know where this commenter below is getting their information. This poster is not Gus Escamilla, the founder of Greenway University, as I know him well. Who ever is writing this is slandering a great person; not only has Gus personally given me a place to stay when all hope was nearly gone; he also has repeatedly offered anything he can to be sure I was doing well without any discussion of payment or return compensation of any kind whatsoever. I know many of the people who Greenway University has personally helped, with jobs, office space, and free meeting spaces to non-profit organizations which are continuing to this day with a great amount of generosity, from Greenway University. Falsely warning people of criminal activity which does not exist and bad business practices which is being done simply out of spite or malice is the only crime Greenway is involved in, and it is being committed against them, not by them .  I feel this is a gross mis-characterization of a good man, and one hell of a school which is federally recognized under the department of education and which both are changing the marijuana industry in Colorado only for the better. I beg this liar to truly stand up, provide their fake sources, and admit their true identity so proceedings can begin; I talk only of the slander and liable charges that are warranted against this fake anonymous poster who does not have the facts to prove these baseless allegations in court, and win. The only warning people should take is one of warning to not trust an anonymous and vengeful blogger who is trying to hurt this business in an anonymous and douchebaggery way. I trust the Westword for news, but note that almost any bloghole can post trash in a blog in an attempt to use the westword name to make their outlandish information seem more plausible. Mr. V
