Barack Obama's announcement of Osama bin Laden's slaying presented newscasters with a tongue twister -- and some lost the game. 9News reported that "in 2001, Obama was linked to the 9/11 terror attacks" -- because he's Muslim, I guess -- and CBS4 anchor Kathy Walsh said Obama told the nation about "Obama's... bin Laden's killing." Obama, Osama, Osama, Obama: Let's call the whole thing off. See the videos below.

The death of the local newscast. I had it on Channel 4 for CBS until they switched to local and you see what happened above. Then I went to ABC. When they switched to local, it was painful. Same shit. Osama-Obama, gone audio, gone video with a still shot frozen on screen. I had to turn it all off.
