Update: The Denver coroner's office has identified the woman stabbed to death at a HIV/AIDS group-living facility on West Wesley Avenue.

Original item, 9:33 a.m. May 26: Early this morning, a forty-something woman reportedly living at a group home for people who are HIV positive was stabbed to death.
No victim or suspect information released to date, but the Denver Police Department is investigating the case as a homicide.

According to 7News, Anita Rich, who lives next to the facility, was awakened at around 2 a.m. by a frantic resident of the home, who told her a woman was dead. She found the victim in a hallway drenched in blood, with more blood coming from her nose and mouth. Rich said the woman had AIDS, but was active, motivated, and always kind to Rich's children while gardening outside the facility.
