Update: A short time ago, we published a look at the Chris Romer campaign's election day strategy in the Denver mayor's race that pits him against Michael Hancock.

The Hancock crew's take? Amber Miller, spokeswoman for the perceived frontrunner, offered the following takes on election-day-related topics.

To our first inquiry, Miller sent this general statement: "Michael is out working hard to encourage everyone to vote. We're making sure no one takes anything for granted and focusing on what we believe is the best ground game this city has seen."

Moments ago, Miller checked in again, sharing her views on the following subjects.

Get-out-the-vote efforts: "Michael is out with our army of volunteers working to make sure no ballot is left behind."

The impact of Hancock's lead in the polls on the campaign's approach: "We have not taken anything for granted and continue with our strategic plan to win this election. Polls don't vote. We are working until the last minutes of this campaign to ensure the people of Denver get their ballots in."

The perception that some voters may not participate because of complaints about negative campaigning: "Michael has received an outpouring of support for his positive vision for the future of our city. We are confident the people of Denver see a clear leader who will be ready on day one to move this city forward."
