Medical marijuana licensing more liberal in Denver than in Boulder?

• The fact that Denver dispensary licensing is more liberal than in Boulder, is extremely surprising to me. To think, a town known for hippy culture is more rigid than a major American town is shocking. If anything I thought Denver dispensaries were crazy for not trying to use the smaller towns, instead of competing with all the big dogs. Especially a Denver dispensary like www.thereleafcenter.com who I believe is bounds over the competition. Hearing this, however, maybe it is the best idea to just get licensed and start biting at the big dogs' ankles till they drop.

• It's been proven in Federal Court that you can't use what someone says in a chat room or blog against them.  The reason is that anyone can be anyone on here, Westword for example doesn't check to make sure that we are using our real names.  The biggest threat of what you say on the internet is censorship, not actual prosecution. More specifically there are no current regulations for caregivers except for Amendment 20.  Caregivers are unregulated, uncharted territory, which equals better weed, better prices, and most important more fun, sin regs.

• You know, dog feces can be considered "organic," and spring water is susceptible to contamination like any other source of water.  At least city water is tested and treated. Be careful when bragging about ducking the regulatory radar.  Hubris tends to attract the po-po, fo sho!

• Great question. Indeed who is more liberal?  Because as we all know medical marijuana is a constitutional right and as we all know constitutional rights are not meant to be applied evenly and in compliance with the constitution across the state. But rather applied however cities and municipalities feel like said constitutional right should be applied that's why black people can't drink out of the same water fountains as white people in Fountain and why women can't vote in Lakewood and Boulder also feels that your constitutional right to bear arms just does not fit in with the vibe up here. So yes this is a remarkable bit of journalism gets to the heart of the issue and once again shows how the fourth branch is not a dead dog but a rather robust watchdog of the public intrusts.  Keep up the good work!

• The only way to deal with the current regulations is to ignore them.  Remember Amendment 20 and forget the rest. Speaking of no licenses being issued to dispensaries.... won't all of them have to reapply by next summer as their 2 year license period is more than half over and they haven't even gotten to display that expensive piece of paper yet???

• We'll see how liberal the state pot clowns are. In over a year, and with a $10 million budget handed to them by naive MMC-applicants, the state has issued ZERO licenses. Yet they have continued to put up never ending hoops and obstacles for these applicants, sucking them dry financially, without even a deadline or idea of when the first state license will be granted. Any other industry would be fighting back with big lawsuits and big PR, but our sheeples in the MMJ "industry" just bend over, hand their video surveillance tapes over to the cops without question, and ask for more. This smells like the biggest set-up in Colorado history.

• And in the High Country we don't even have to worry about all that big city circus.  The weed flows free of regulation and is often grown organic with spring water.  Get away from that warehouse regulated and tracked weed and come back to some soil grown mountain dank!

• There use to be a park in the 2200 block of Lawrence St called Edward "Eddie" Maestas Park now called Seal Island by the Denver Police that Cheech and Chong would like to use for a new movie. Cheech and Chong like Denver for the City's liberal Weed and Seed laws.
