Reader: Dan Caplis has faith in Tim Tebow, but does any football expert have faith in Caplis?

Yesterday, KHOW's Dan Caplis talked about what he sees as media bias against Tim Tebow, as well as a mistake made by John Fox and John Elway to back the "safe" pick, Kyle Orton, over a younger prospect.

Caplis's theory didn't win over this reader.

Yes, compared to John Fox, John Elway et al, Dan Caplis knows way more about football than those jokers. Has it dawned on Caplis that the Broncos didn't trade Orton because they didn't want to throw the season away with Tebow running the show. And why Coach Caplis has there been no interest from the entire league in acquiring the services of the greatest 1 win QB in the history of the league?

Caplis is simply a religious zealot who supports the Christian position every single time it's offered.  I don't believe his support for Tebow has anything whatsoever to do with football.  Zero.

C'mon, what's with the pieces about Caplis and Rosen this week? The former is a slick but shallow mouthpiece for the state GOP, and the latter is an arrogant, washed-up libertarian thug. Frankly, neither are newsworthy figures - at least when you cover Boyles, you're writing about someone who (despite - or because of - his especially ugly politics) has a significant following in this town. Dan and Mike are second-rate media figures at best.
