PETA set to protest the circus every day it's in Denver (PHOTOS)

•  puss is puss, no mistaking it. try not going to the doctor if you get a dick infection...you wouldnt im sure because its painful.. +someone+ has to stick up for those who suffer with a sickness while the world watches.

• Perhaps the money you would be using to buy tickets encouraging the further abuse of these animals could be put to better use--a typing or spelling class should be your first priority.

• For lack of a better way of expressing it, bless these peoples' hearts. For those who don't know it, the circus as Ringling Brothers does it, is one nasty business. Large, wild, strong animals that don't want to act the fool are made to do just that, with beatings on either end whether they comply with handlers' heavy handed instructions or not. The people that work these acts are just makin' a living, I get that, and it's been going on for a long time, but that doesn't balance out the fact that the animals used are basically tortured, kept in squalid conditions, exposed to awful temperature ranges, and in constant state of stress. Terrified of being whipped. Hooked. Imagine living that way your entire life. PETA catches a lot of shit, no doubt. Some people look at animal rights organizations in very negative light, but guarantee things would be a lot worse for animals, both domestic and wild, without them. At leasr circus goers are exposed to the truth, the heart rending actuality of that industry when they go past the protesters.
