• He's right..   .Shannon Sharpe retired with the most receptions as a tight end in league history. He knows what a guy that can be an effective quarterback, who can deliver the ball accurately, with power and authority, on time, looks like and he recognizes Tebow simply does not have that ability............period.   Elway's rookie year was frustrating, he had to catch up to the speed of the pro game, and everything he did he had to refine. But...................he had the basic fundamental ability, the natural talent throwing the football that is necessary to get better, to succeed, to be proficient. We knew he'd be great. We knew he'd be great DURING his first NFL appearance, a preseason game against Atlanta. Tools. Basic, fundamental, raw talent throwing the football. Unmistakable and in your face ability that is or isn't there. Elway had that from jump-street.    If you still "wonder" if your starting quarterback can even compete as a quarterback in that league at this point, you've got the wrong guy.   Period.
