Reader: Christian athletes shouldn't endorse products in the name of pagan goddess Nike

Exhibit A: the following item, in which the reader of a post ranking Tim Tebow as the fifth best quarterback in the NFL shares an unusual view about Christian athletes, false gods and swooshes.

Christian athletes in all sports should HONOR GOD!
How can we go against God and expect to be fully blessed?
In Exodus 23:13, GOD says... "Be sure to do all that I have said to you. You must not even say the names of other gods; those names must not come out of your mouth."
We are not even to mention the names of other gods and goddesses... and surely not to wear their names on us.
We shouldn't wear anything referencing any other religion either!
No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons.
1 Corinthians 10:20That's right... the pagan goddess Nike is a demon.
HONOR GOD!... not gods, goddesses or demons...
The BEST is God's love for you... It is free yet more valuable than anything in the world!
