• "God" also gave us the opium poppy, the tobacco plant, datura, and brugmansia.  I'm firmly on the pro-legalization side of the marijuana issue but the argument you are making is a very bad one (lots of "natural/god-given" things are extremely dangerous and no child should touch them) and the idea that children should be allowed to use marijuana as soon as they can use a lighter is lunacy.Seriously...you don't help to end prohibition with ludicrous statements like that.

• I've got no dog in this fight (sucks living in Texas) but young bodies and brains are still growing and developing, and as much as I think MJ should be legal and available, a minimum age of consumption like with alcohol would probably be the wise thing to do. I didn't take my first puff until 20, after my first drink.

• I think all humans, regardless of age should have access to marijuana.  God gave us cannabis to use, cultivate, and distribute without restriction.  I think if a kid can use a lighter, they should be able to smoke pot, it's merely a right of passage, all the cool kids do it. Every year thousands of teenagers lives are ruined due to prohibition laws. Making laws to attack children for using a God given medicine is horrible. Maybe you should get real dude? Children do not deserve to be sucked into the for profit drug war....

• 18? Get real dude, shake off the brainwashing. You will never get people to agree where to draw the line sooo..... get rid of the line. Kids are smarter than you think, some like tomatoes, some don't. Some like cannabis, some don't. Forbidding something makes it more desirable, teach your own kids, don't pretend laws will do it for you. 

• Children can buy tomatoes. You really think children under 18 years of age should have unrestricted access to marijuana? Get real dude. Schedule two is not the answer but neither is regulating marijuana like tomatoes.

• someone needs to do a FOA request and ask for rule and regulation clarification requests from doctors and PAs to the CDPHE, and their responses. it'll blow the lid off the controversy and show how corrupt the CDPHE really is.

• It's a real shame that a bonafide pot clown like this DOR idiot, whatever her name is, is wasting time looking stupid.  Why not do it right and ask the DEA to take marijuana off the criminal codes, apologize to all those incarcerated, persecuted, and robbed over the past 80 years and forget all the medical scheduling bullshit.  These incremental steps are worthless ass kissing to the DEA and a real joker smoker like TuTone here ain't buying it for a second, neither will the DEA I'm sure.  Until it's as legal as coffee and tomatoes it's not legal.

• Too bad hb1284 was written my MMIG and schedule 2 is heavily regulated and produced in labs and then only supplied by pharmacies-NOT MMC's or caregivers or patients.  This was a pay off to Big Pharma courtesy MMIG. It should be REMOVED from Schedule--Schedule is based on safety--how can the safest therapeutic substance known to man with no known lethal does be on schedule?
