Glen Godec, children's photographer and alleged porn fan, accused of sexually assaulting a child
Glen Godec's Photobucket page features well over 1,000 images, most seemingly benign. But the closer you look, the more you notice that the preponderance of shots feature little girls -- a fact that's been rendered ultra-creepy by news that Godec has been busted on a couple of sex-crime charges in relation to allegedly assaulting a child who fits this description.
Big pic below.
Godec is affiliated with Godec's Photo Supply, a Colorado Springs-based outfit currently celebrating fifty years in operation. He's shot plenty of events in the area, with an apparent preference for those involving kids of the female persuasion: dance recitals, parades, trips to the zoo and so on.
This sideline seems like a natural outgrowth of the family business -- but the Colorado Springs Police Department believes it had a dark underbelly.
The Colorado Springs Gazette notes that Godec's no stranger to law enforcement, having pleaded guilty to criminal impersonation and assault in 2004 and 2005, respectively, and has faced charges ranging from fraud to domestic violence over the years.
Then, five months ago, cops were told that Godec had been viewing pornographic videos with an eleven-year-old girl -- and during the investigation that followed, they concluded that he didn't stop there. The CSPD says that in addition to engaging in sexual conduct with the child, he also took pornographic photos of her and a younger sister, as well as other kids who have yet to be identified.
Given this last fact, police are certain that more victims exist; it's just a matter of finding them. Presumably, Godec could be facing more charges once they surface.
