This weekend brings Tim Tebow's biggest test as starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos -- a faceoff with the New England Patriots, starring Tom Brady, a surefire Hall of Famer who belongs in the Greatest Quarterback of All-Time conversation. But while Brady's experience and QB skills are undoubtedly superior to Timmy's at this point, what about their intangibles? Who comes out on top when they're measured? We put them to the test below.

Point: Tom Brady is a very attractive man.

Counterpoint: Tim Tebow is a very attractive man -- and he hasn't made the sort of quizzical hairstyle gaffes Brady has.

Oh, we forgot about this one.

Advantage: Brady.

Point: Tom Brady can really rock that eye black.

Counterpoint: Tim Tebow reinvented eye black. Before he came along, who knew it could also be a billboard?

Advantage: Tebow.

Point: Tom Brady's passes usually go where he wants them to go.

Counterpoint: Tim Tebow wins without having any idea where his passes are going to go most of the time. Which is kind of cool, but still...

Advantage: Brady.

Tebow is not even in the same conversation as Tom Brady.

Great post Michel.

This is the week that either Denver and Tebow move into the conversation when discussing serious playoff teams and competent quarterbacks or the whole 6 weeks and counting phenomenon is revealed as smoke and mirrors.

Either way, what a run.

Denver's caught every break imaginable in this improbable run. Key opponents have been hurt, running backs stepping out of bounds when staying in would have virtually iced the game, dropped interceptions unexplainable bad throws by the other quarterbacks late , teams inexplicably going to a cover 2 at the end when simply playing man with one safety in the box had smothered Denver all day, on and on.

This remarkable run has some pretty identifiable marks on it.

But no break they've caught is as big as the schedule itself. The 8-5 Jets and the 7-6 Bears are the best teams these guys have beaten so far. Miami and Minnesota have 6 wins between them. Safe to say, None of these teams come close to resembling the talent with New England, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Green Bay, Detroit, New Orleans, or the 49ers.

New England's supposedly poor pass defense against Denver's awful pass offense is a key. Also, If the Patriots don't blow it open early, the game could go down to the wire. But the Patriots are favored by 6 because the bettors think it won't be close late.

One thing we do know is that should Denver go into the playoffs, the overwhelming odds are that they'll ply either Pittsburgh or Baltimore here in the wild card round. Win or lose that one, should Denver even be there, then I've missed something.

But this weekend is the defining moment for this offense, this staff, this very like able kid, and a defense with 2 rookies at safety and the best linebacker in the division wearing a cast on one hand

If injuries to other teams' players the last few weeks are "just the way it goes", so be it for Denver Sunday.

Brady probably knows about it..
