Name this dude.
Yep, Tim Tebow and the Broncos are in the playoffs, and each day this week, to get you ready for Saturday's showdown with the New England Patriots, we're going to put real fans to the test with brain teasers from the Denver Broncos Trivia Game (the 1985 version, which I just found at a local antique mall). Warning: They're super-tough, just like the Broncos will need to be. Look below for our second batch of questions, then flip the page for answers.

Question 2: "Name the two Broncos players who made up the 'M and M Connection.'"

Question 3: "In the 1984 season, against what team did the Broncos score by recovered fumble returns on their opponent's first two plays?"

Question 4: "Who was the first number-one draft choice to actually sign with the Broncos?"

Question 5: "What three Broncos players scored three 4th-quarter touchdowns in the team's historical comeback against the Seattle Seahawks in Denver in 1979?"

This is great stuff!

As an old time fan, I still remember the Rocky Mountain News calling Bears Stadium "A house of horrors" the morning after defending AFL Champion San Diego beat the Broncos 31-20 in 1964.

Jacky Lee, who, by the way, won a Super Bowl ring with the Chiefs in '69, had a pretty good first 3 quarters against the Chargers that day. Denver took a 20-10 3rd quarter lead, in front of about 21,000 fans, which was a really good crowd back then, as the defense nailed John Hadl in the South end zone for a safety and Jim McMillin scored on a fumble return followed by Jacky's 2 point conversion, on consecutive series.

Then Jacky hit 4 balls in a row to get Denver close enough for another score, a Dick Geussman field goal

Up 20-10 over the San Diego Chargers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

The place was going nuts.

Then the roof caved in.

Jacky threw 2 4tth quarter picks and fumbled once, and the Chargers scored touchdowns after all 3 turnovers. The fans never really gave Jacky another break, and he's not remembered by most as a good quarterback.

But that kid really could play, and Hank Stram used him as a backup to Lenny Dawson for several years.

Thanks for doing this trivia this week. It's really fun.
